Cosmic Collisions VR
A downloadable space
Team Name:
Final Boss Studios
Description
Cosmic Collisions in a First Person Shooter being developed on the Oculus platform. The main objective of the game is simple - shoot all the incoming asteroids barreling towards earth! If you fail, you'll have to watch the destruction of Earth from a distance.
Cosmic also wants to demonstrate and make the users feel the size and scale of the universe. Cosmic puts the user in a VR Environment looking down on Earth - a cool sight to see! Being fully immersed in a space environment is something VR can uniquely provide, we feel.
Have fun shooting space rocks!

How does this relate to Contrast and Control?
Contrast: We decided to express contrast with the use of vibrant colors, offset from the black void of space. That contrast also makes the shootable asteroids really easy to detect in game.
Control: We want to express control with the concept of teleporting to 3 different platforms strategically placed around the earth that forms a triangle of different vantage points. Can see anything on the dark side of earth? Teleport to Platform 3, which is next to the moon.
